How we use your data for the BT Payphones Removal Consultation (Powys) 2019.
Powys County Council is required under the Communications Act 2003 to act as the Relevant Public Organisation in this public consultation process. The data collected through this consultation exercise will be used to inform the decision making process for each payphone location listed in the formal notification received from BT Payphones. Responses provided as part of the consultation exercise are not anonymised and may be published as required by the Communications Act 2003.
We collect the minimum of information required to inform the consultation process and validate responses. We use our website provider Wix to store your data for the purpose of the exercise.
The information that we collect from you is used for the following reason;
• We require your name to validate your response;
• We require your postal address to validate your response;
• We require your email address to communicate with you progress and outcomes of the consultation exercise and the final decisions;
• Your comments are used to inform the consultation process and the decision making process for each payphone location.
The comments received through this process may be published to inform the justification of a decision by Powys County Council to either Agree/ Adopt/ Remove a payphone site. The consultation data will be held as evidence by Powys County Council for a period not exceeding six years.
